Sophisticated craftsmanship and design in textiles.

The colours of frost on worn faded leaves, or tones in a thunderous sky - anything in fact can act as an inspiration for colour harmony. The silver screen photographed in Leighton House hallway was inspired by contrasts of tones of silver and out of this grew an abstract painting of light through winter trees. Charles and Patricia's sophistication in their design work is created by their craftsmanship in textiles. The finely pleated fabric makes an unusual medium with which to make interior pieces of refinement and originality. Their 'worked textiles' make beautiful objects as well as practical pieces for many areas in the home and themes of interior design. The inspiration can be organic and fluid or drawn from hard geometric patterns.

The glorious setting for this screen is the beautiful home of the famous Victorian artist Lord Frederic Leighton. Charles and Patricia were given the opportunity of showing the great variety of their textile art throughout the house, which is now a delightful museum in Holland Park London. The exhibition spilled out from the art gallery right through every room of the house and showed various aspects of their textile work including inspirational photographs from Charles Lester's art photography.

Their collection includes numerous pieces that range from simple cushions and throws to exotic collectible art that will become the antiques of the future. Their shop is filled with all manner of exciting works of art, bolsters, lavender bags, tapestries - as well as their signature of wearable art. Nowhere else is there such a variety of unique concept and design. The studios in Abergavenny is the only place in the world where these original art pieces can be found. For those who cannot steal the time to travel to Abergavenny in Wales (not that far really) - they can still watch the on-line shop where treasures will appear every now and then.
