Perfumed lavender bags and luxury velvet cushions
Delicate tones of silver on soft rainbow colours decorate the lavender bags which are daintily tied with swirls of the Lesters' signature pleated silk. These make a delightful present for a lady - whether she is a young bride or a precious elderly aunt. Both will appreciate the organically grown lavender. These dainty gifts bely the hard work put into growing and gathering the lavender, drying it and then carefully storing it so that it does not loose the magic of the perfume.
The lavender pouches rest on a silk rayon cushion with devore maidenhair print. Hand painted in soft creams then hand printed in our studio in Wales.
Sometimes it is difficult to find something that is simple luxury as a gift for someone special. The studios in Abergavenny have many treasures that are rare in this day of volume production imported from abroad. Everything that they have in the studios are made in Wales and apart from some beautiful beaded necklaces, everything is made by the family and made in Abergavenny. At the studios can be found everything from the dainty herb bags, tee-shirts painted by hand by the Lesters' granddaughter and beautiful bead, button and glass work by Georgina - their daughter.
The tiny talented team continue to help to make works of art for the body and the home, exploring the world of film and opera.
